EVER WISH YOU COULD START OVER?
Have you ever found yourself wishing you could start over?
So many people wish they could go back and start again and know they would make different choices and do something different from what they are doing now.
The reality is, you can’t go back in time, but you can actually do something about your situation if you don’t like how your life has panned out so far. I have known so many people who know what they done wrong and what they really want to change, but in the end, they don’t change anything. Awareness wasn’t enough, and so they continue to live with lots of remorse and complaining.
Complaining doesn’t help turn your life around, it requires action. You have the ability within you to take charge of your life, with God’s help, by identifying what changes need to be made, what wrongs need to be made right, and place your faith in the God and His wisdom to enable you to make wise choices and fulfill the purpose and plans God has for you.
You have the power to define how you want to live out the remaining days of your life. You can continue living in mediocrity, perhaps even failure, or you can get in lockstep with God and make the next chapter of your life include many successes.
We serve a God who specializes in second chances. Sometimes we need a Life Reboot. You can choose the direction of your future. So what are you going to do? See what aspects of your life you need to improve upon, spirituality, health, family, dreams, personal development, financial freedom, and adventure. These are the seven major areas that demand your attention.
We’re going to be talking about this during the month of February at Deer Flat Church, in the new series: Life Reboot. Maybe you know someone who could use a second chance. Why not invite them to experience a great Lord’s Day at Deer Flat. Let’s get serious about living a significant life. Come this Sunday with a teachable spirit and an expectation that God is going to do something real within you.
The time to start a new adventure has arrived. Dedicated work and determined obedience is what takes you from where you are to where you truly want to go. You can’t start over, but you can make a whole new ending!
Loving You and Him,
PS – I’m still so thrilled about the 23 people who were baptized last Sunday! God is up to great things at Deer Flat! I can’t wait to see you!
