Operation Christmas Child is a great way to bless children around the world. Take a look at some of the ways to get involved and make a difference!

  • Stop by the table and take a post it note from the Christmas tree to purchase remaining items needed for our packing party. Items needed by NEXT Sunday.

  • If you still want to pack boxes at home - please grab one this Sunday. Boxes must be brought to church no later than Sunday Nov. 24th. Great family activity.

  • Talk to our kids about OCC they are experts. They have been learning and packing shoeboxes this past month. - The kids have already packed over 100 shoeboxes! in Kidz Church.

  • Thanks to the men's breakfast group last week. Great response. Men, please fill up the tool aprons and buy some baseballs  and bring them in next Sunday.

  • Thanks to the sewing, crafting and crocheting ladies. We have 300 hats and tote bags made, along with other special homemade gifts for our shoeboxes. You are the best!

  • Sign up at the table this Sunday if you can help us prep for the party on Friday afternoon 1-5 Oct 25th.

  • Come to the packing party on October 26th. A great family event. We will be packing 200+ shoeboxes that morning 9:30-Noon. Kim will be with us to share her story of receiving a box in Cambodia as a young teenager and coming to know Christ through that experience. We will be enjoying Christmas music and cookies and hot chocolate. The morning will end prayer and dedication of our shoeboxes. Please sign up at the table in the lobby if you plan on attending. Everyone welcome. Kids 5 and up will be able to pack boxes. No childcare provided.

  • Donate: $9 pays the cost of shipping. $15 pays shipping and provides “The Greatest Journey” materials and a New Testament. Mark your offering “OCC”, give online at deerflat.org/give or text “DFCGIVE” to 77977 and choose “Operation Christmas Child”

THANK YOU to the Deer Flat family for your help and support so far! We have been overwhelmed by your generosity and your level of involvement so far.  We are headed for our biggest year ever. If all the boxes are returned, we will be sending more than 500  Gospel Opportunities for children this year. Praise God. ( The printed shoeboxes are called GO boxes - GO is short for gospel opportunity)

We had a great Sunday last week with our First Responders Appreciation followed by part 1 of our new series, “Grace, it’s Amazing”. Don’t miss out on part 2 this week!
