Summer Fun!

Hello Deer Flat Family,
The busyness of the summer at Deer Flat is off to a great start. Last week was VBS and wow what a week. We had over 300 kidz, dozens of volunteers of all ages, thousands of cookies, fun craft projects, a ton of fun, and most importantly the word of God placed in the hearts of these children.
This could not have been done without the countless hours spent by Julie, Becca, all of the staff and amazing volunteers that gave their all to do it with excellence! Thanks to everyone involved and know that those hours of hard work made a difference in a child’s life.
Over the next few weeks we will have our 4 summer camps. These camps are a great opportunity for children/youth/leaders to get away from the screens/devices, make new friends, participate in fun physical activities, and learn and grow in Christ. Don’t miss out on giving your kids the opportunity. Registration is required and time is running out.

It doesn’t stop there, here are some other things that may be of interest to you.
ALIVE AFTER 55 LUNCHEON – JULY 16 All adults are invited to a luncheon in the lobby at noon hosted by Alive After 55. Our own Deer Flat Quartet will share special music and lead us in Worship. Deer Flat will provide fried & baked chicken. Please bring a salad or dessert to share with the group. REGISTRATION
DISCOVERING DEER FLAT CHURCH CLASS – JULY 21 & 28 Join us to learn more about Deer Flat, Free Methodists, ways to connect, places to serve, or becoming a member. This class occurs the last 2 weeks of every other month. If you would like to become a member this class is required. REGISTRATION
MEN’S BREAKFAST – AUGUST 3 All men are invited to join us for a Men's Breakfast. There's always plenty of good food and good fellowship, so please invite a friend! REGISTRATION
BELIZE MISSION TRIP LAST CHANCE – If you have any interest in going with us to Belize in October, please join us Sunday at 12:30 in Room 30 (youth room) to get your questions answered and get signed up! If you want to go and have not signed up, please REGISTER NOW
