Our purpose is to edify the Body of Christ through the leadership of worship as well as to provide a place of expression for those He has gifted. This includes people who assist us in worship, including artists, dancers, actors, sound, media, and lighting, as well as musicians.
Participation in our Worship Ministry is diverse and open to all, Grade 6 and older, who demonstrate faithfulness to the mission and leadership of our church. Deer Flat has the unique opportunity to serve the church with two different worship styles, both Traditional and Contemporary. It is our hope to see God’s people engage in a time of worship through freedom of expression. Our desire is to facilitate the development of musicians for both services in our worship ministry and to do so from within our local Church body.

DANCERS
This ministry is open to anyone with a desire to move! Participants will be asked to be involved in worship services and special events.
ACTORS
Jesus had a special way of making a point--through parables, stories. Drama is a way for us to tell a story. Every Christmas our choir, actors, and orchestra join together to tell a story of hope and love. At other times of the year, actors are a part of seasonal and special services. Artists, too, can have a place of ministry by expressing their creativity through their chosen mediums. Contact Worship Pastor Carol Whitbeck for more information.
