At DFY our mission is to make more and better followers of Jesus. Our ministry uses a variety of activities and programs encouraging students to connect, learn, worship, and serve. We’ve designed this youth ministry to be a safe, fun and welcoming place where students can encounter Christ and learn how to follow Him in their daily lives.
We don't want you to miss out on an awesome Summer at Camp Cascade with DFY! Here are some important dates to put on your calendar:
Middle School Camp: June 22-26, 2026
High School Camp: July 13-17, 2026

All students grades 6 – 12 are welcome to attend Deer Flat Youth’s Summer Discussion Groups. Students meet for a delicious cereal breakfast and fellowship followed by worship, teaching, and small groups. Each group will go through discussion questions created by Pastors Ryker and Dana that focus on the biblical text, discipleship, and life application.
After high schoolers finish youth small groups, they join the main worship service for 2nd hour from 10:45am-12pm. We want our high school students to be prepared to attend church after graduation with an understanding of what adult church is like. We have a youth section of seating reserved for students who want to sit with their friends in the far, right corner of the auditorium.
Level up is our Middle School second service. Grades 6th , 7th , and 8th are welcome to join us for games, Bible teaching, and discussion groups. Our service is easy to engage and meets students at any level of participation. This time is led by a fantastic team of adults and helpers all working to make more and better followers of Jesus. During the Summer, we do not have a regularly scheduled mid-week programming. We do have a variety of events and activities for both Middle School and High School students. For more information, check out the "Upcoming Events" section above, or go to deerflat.org/events to see the full calendar.
If you are interested in serving in any capacity (LIFE Group leader, youth volunteer, bringing snacks, driving to youth events, hanging out at CONNECT, etc...).
