HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy New Year!!! Welcome to a brand-new year filled with brand new opportunities. Think about this, this is a brand-new year… it’s never been used before. What does that mean for you and me? It means that no matter what happened yesterday, we get a fresh start today. God’s Word says – The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lam. 3:22-23) God’s love and mercy are brand-new today and this year.
As we begin our year as a church family, let’s commit to not wasting God’s love and mercy. In fact, what if we not only consume them but what if we also decide now to share them with others around us. This Sunday, we are starting a new series, Decide NOW. For next several weeks we will look deeply into our lives and into our faith to identify ways that we can make stronger decisions. The quality of our life is the direct result of the quality of our decisions. The most important decision you and I ever made was to choose to follow Jesus. And now that we follow Him, we continue daily to make decisions to strengthen that walk. This series is going to challenge our personal faith and it will be a great series to invite your friends and family to. Together, let’s start this year off with a bang!
